Grounds Keeping - Exterior
Join our Grounds Keeping - Exterior
Performing regular as directed grounds and landscape maintenance by mowing lawn with riding or push mowers; trimming and edging around shrubs, ground cover, flowers, sidewalks and building; weeding, thinning and cleaning flower beds and other grounds by hand or utilizing proper tools and equipment.
BuildingHousekeeping - Interior
Join our Housekeeping Team
Maintaining clean church facilities by performing weekly duties and daily spot cleaning in all public areas of the building, including bathrooms, sanctuary, kitchens, and meeting rooms. Working with other maintenance team members and church staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and stocked with necessary items.
Parking Attendants
- Protecting the safety of pedestrians.
- Managing traffic flow by ushering cars into spaces.
- Ensuring handicapped parking areas are kept free.
- Greeting and assisting guests.
- Directing traffic when necessary.
Greeters & Ushers
- Setting the spiritual climate of the service by presenting a joyful attitude.
- Making others feel welcome and comfortable.
- Providing information regarding the church and each department.
- Making sure that everything is flowing in proper order so that everyone is free to worship without interruption.
- Recognizing, welcoming, and caring for each member of the assembly as if that person were Christ.
- Tending to the needs of the people of God and making them feel comfortable as they gather for worship each Sunday.
- Welcoming the congregation and orienting them to the church facility and the specifics of the worship service.
- Responding to any unexpected needs that arise during a service.
- Assisting with seating and communion.
- Serving as parking attendants as needed at each location.
