Exterior - Grounds Keeping
Join our Grounds Keeping - Exterior
Perform regular as directed grounds and landscape maintenance by:
- mowing lawn with riding or push mowers
- trimming and edging around shrubs
- ground cover, flowers, sidewalks and building
- weeding, thinning, and cleaning flower beds
- other maintenance by hand or utilizing proper tools and equipment.
Interior - Building Housekeeping
Join our Housekeeping Team
Maintain clean church facilities by performing weekly duties and daily spot cleaning in all public areas of the building, including:
- bathrooms
- sanctuary
- kitchens
- meeting room
- working with other maintenance team members and church staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and stocked with necessary items
Parking Attendants
- Protecting the safety of pedestrians
- Managing traffic flow by ushering cars into spaces
- Ensuring handicapped parking areas are kept free
- Greeting and assisting guests
- Directing traffic when necessary
Greeters & Ushers
- Set the spiritual climate of the service by presenting a joyful attitude
- Mak others feel welcome and comfortable
- Provide information regarding the church and each department
- Make sure that everything is flowing in proper order so that everyone is free to worship without interruption
- Recognize, welcome, and care for each member of the assembly as if that person were Christ
- Tend to the needs of the people of God and make them feel comfortable as they gather for worship each Sunday
- Welcome the congregation and orient them to the church facility and the specifics of the worship service
- Respond to any unexpected needs that arise during a service.
- Assist with seating and communion
- Serve as parking attendants as needed at each location
